Robotic Test Bench for Endurance Testing
AVTOVAZ JSC opens new robotic test bench for vehicle body components in Tolyatti. A ceremony celebrating the opening of a new robotic test bench for the endurance testing of vehicle body components was held at AVTOVAZ JSC in Tolyatti. According to the factory newspaper “VA-Volzhsky Avtostroitel” (cited by Lada Online), these components include doors, hood and trunk lids, fuel filler flaps, radiator grilles, and bumpers.
The company notes that testing on this bench allows for the evaluation of vehicle designs under conditions closely mimicking real-world operations. This method reduces evaluation times while simultaneously improving its quality.
The opening ceremony was attended by Yves Caracatzanis, President of AVTOVAZ JSC, and Nicolas Maure, Renault Group’s Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Eurasia Region.
Yves Caracatzanis stated: “I believe it is high time we start learning how to use this equipment on our existing models, so that we are fully prepared to develop our new vehicles.”
Nicolas Maure, in turn, emphasized that “significant funds” had been invested in upgrading the testing capabilities. According to him, this demonstrates that both shareholders believe in the company’s successful future.
